Borgo Pignano has six villas of various sizes.
They are available separately, but large families or groups of friends often choose to occupy two or three.
Each of the villas has a generous, heated swimming pool and comes with an electric buggy and, best of all, concierge service.
Borgo Pignano’s eighteenth century villa is surrounded by gardens overlooking pristine landscapes of Tuscany which Renaissance artists such as Filippo Brunelleschi and Piero della Francesca, would still recognize.
Perched on a hilltop, the villa’s rooms offer views of olive groves, vineyards, fields, woods and ravishing sunsets.
There are fourteen elegant rooms and suites, some with original frescoes and all with en-suite marble and travertine bathrooms. A grand stone staircase leads to the upper stories and an elevator serves all floors.
Some of the works are by well-known modern and contemporary British artists while many have been made during residences by students and alumni of The Royal Drawing School, established by King Charles III.
